On Site Medical

Post by hobie16 » Mon Aug 04, 2008 8:21 pm

I just read an article in Business Week discussing the pros and cons of companies having on site medical care for employees. It said Disney is building a $6 million clinic at WDW that will open in November.

Any thoughts?

If the pay they offer the doctors there is proportional to the pay the rest of us get, I think I'll take my bodily problems somewhere else.

From what i have heared from Health Srvc's is that they will be contracted via Centra Care for medical. Its not a free doctors office.. its just a doctors office we can use that will accept our ins.

As for the pharm. that is also a sub of centra care, etc... for x-ray, labs, yada yada yada

Sounds like a good idea but as a frequent guest I think treating guest as well would be a good idea.
