That being said, today had the most occurences of Train SGs and SETs that I've ever seen
.I boarded the Train at Los Angeles, and just before departure, they made the mandatory announcement informing everyone not travelling on the train to get off. This was at least 5 minutes before we departed, so it surprised me to see, as soon as we left, a women chasing the Conductor down the aisle screaming how she wasn't supposed to be onboard, and needed to get off.
The funny thing about that is this: shortly after we left the station, we came to a stop under a overpass, near a train yard of some sort. Outside my window, I suddenly see the women walking on the tracks - it seems the Crew had had enough and just threw her off the train. She was met by some guy who helped her into a gocart. Though, I'm pretty sure he just dropped her off at the entrance to the Rail Yard, at some distance from the station.......serves her right :twisted: .
And then there was a SET moment. Shortly after the Cafe Car Attendant made his announcement that the Cafe Car was still closed for restocking, one of the Conductors came over the intercom and asked him on the intercom, in full earshot of the passengers, for an Ice Tea. This continued for a few minutes, as they both talked over the intercom, while everyone was driven crazy by the continious dinging noise as they each activated the Intercom system.
One of the weirdest train rides I've ever taken, I'll tell you that.
