Not really good for a one-liner but I always loved this bit. Guy gose to buy an ant from a store and the salesman comes up with a weird mask on and mistakes him for someone else which the man then wants to know who he thought he was..:

Salesman: Michael Ellis.

Customer: I see.

Salesman: Do you know him, sir?

Customer: Michael Ellis... Michael Ellis...

Salesman: You don't

Customer: Well, I don't remember the name.

Salesman: I think you would remember him, sir.

Customer: Why do you say that?

Salesman: Well, would you remember a man six foot nine inches high, fortyish, and he's got a long scar from here to here and absolutely no nose?

Customer: ... oh, I think I do remember somebody like that...

Salesman: Well, that's not Michael Ellis. He's a small man about this high with a high-pitched voice.

"Burma!"

"Why did you say 'Burma'?"

"I panicked."

Did he say splunge? What the hell does splunge mean?

It means it's a great idea or possibly not but I'm not being indecisive..

I have been wondering this whole thread if "Prostrate" was a spell / grammar check miss...

I believe the intended word was....
...Prostate?
