PP was one of the rides I was thinking of when I asked those questions, I know its a nightmare to evac. Thanks for the info, i figured Disney pretty much had everything thought out for this sort of thing, just like hurricains in Florida, they have proceedures.

Ill be down next week and ill try to drop by and say hi M'lady.

Thanks
Steve

The news had a blurb about Pamela Anderson going in for a seismic refit.

DisneyMom wrote:Welllllllll......It wasn't that big of a shake. I saw video of Disneyland of people just standing about, no panic. Rides were down for 3 hours. The SG's all ran to City Hall, I wouldn't be there. I did clarify IF THEY WEREN'T BUSY.
I didn't say YOU would do it. I would never imply that someone where would be a SG, other than myself, and Grumpy Pirate (but ONLY if he is hitting the bottle, of rum!)

I bet Grumpy was holding a cocktail shaker, and smiling, when the earthquake hit.

When I was there on Tuesday, that quake was a rolling quake. It almost caused me to fall. The sound from the quake was also very loud. I looked around and people were being evacuated big time. All the snack carts that had food were very busy. I scared me for a while. Now that the media has pulled it out of portion, I plan to buy a few disaster kits from Costco. ;)

President Bush was asked if he was going to go to the epicenter in California.

"No stupid," he replied, "Everyone knows the Epicenter is in Walt Disney World."
