For the overworked CM ... 9 to 5

Post by Sarah Magdalene » Fri Jul 11, 2008 12:05 am

Clip of the 15th Anniversary of WDW.

I am head over heals in love with this, Dolly rocks!

Daisy seems petite in this, perhaps Donald had been slipping growth hormone in her bottled water these last years. Love seeing the princesses loosen up a bit too.

Am I the only one who finds it a tad ironic that Dolly Parton was performing at WDWs 15th anniversary the same year that she opened another theme park that somewhat competes with WDW for Southern visitors.

Other than that, I love it! It's so.....80s with all the girls wearing glasses :p: .

And the White Rabbit is on growth hormones. He's MUCH shorter and rounder now. And I did like seeing the princesses on the glasses kickin' up their heels.

Well, Dollywood is in Tennessee, not Florida. A far cry of a distance from each other. I see no sort of competition coming even close. Heck, Lake Winnie - another mom and pop theme park I been to is even closer than Dollywood is. There is plenty to see in Tennessee and hers is just a part of the rest of it, same way say Santa Monica Pier is part of So Cal.

Or do you mean the no longer existent Dixie Stampede here in O-Town?

Oh wow....I could've sworn Dollywood was in Georgia :o: . This is what I get for living west of the Mississippi, lol.

I never would compare Dixie Stampede (a dinner show, now defunct) as competition to a theme park.

Dollywood would be if it was closer.
