The Japanese Can't Swing

Post by drcorey » Wed Jul 09, 2008 3:51 pm

this is almost scary, the japanese translation of I Wanna Be Like You,
from Jungle Book. no one can swing like King Louie and his band.
I meant Louie Prima and his band who did the number for Disney in this movie.

Here is a clip of the band working with Disney on it.

What's really great is reading the subtitles. :p: It's a translation of a translation. They've got only the vague idea of the original lyrics.

"How much are the mugs? Well the 13 large signs at eye level all say the mugs are $12.99.. so I'm gonna go with that."
