Thanks for all of the congratulations, I am actually going to be a trainer for both the boat ride and soarin' so I have lots of shadowing to do in the next few weeks.

So what is Soarin' like? My last trip was in 2003 so I never heard of it until I started reading this board.

Is it very scary? I'm planning on going to WDW soon and I like to have a mental list of things that I will NOT ride on.

It just goes up in the air and makes you feel like you are hang gliding over different areas over California- Hubby just doesn't like heights!

Congratulations! See, I was right. You made Trainer with no problem :D: .

If (and likely when) I apply to WDW, I'll have to make sure I apply to FWW Attractions (or FL/Toon Attractions, or Monorails, or DAK Attractions, or Buses, or Stores....ugh too many choices :D :) .

Anyway, I'm sure you'll be great at Training. You'll learn more about this during Shadowing and your "Train the Trainer" Class at DU, but the main thing you have to remember is that many of the same Service Guidelines and Four Keys that you use in dealing with the guests are just as applicable when dealing with your trainees.
