Churchy, you are Heinz 57 Varieties!
In case anyone cares, I am Irish, Norwegian, French and Scottish. My husband is 1/4 Chippewa. And Irish and Scottish.
"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

Aw cell phones....
I am still frequently around those 12-17year olds who have cell phones and they are of a different breed than someone even in their early 20s like me. They are on the phone ALL THE TIME! And most of the time it's text messages. I thought I texted a lot being about 500 text/month but they're telling me they send and receive about 1000.
Even while at dinner at a very nice restaurant, they'll have a fork in one hand and a phone in the other texting or at least checking his/her phone to see if there are any messages or calls.
It's very strange to me but MOSTLY RUDE! I don't understand how phones have become such a regular thing at the dinner table. I understand giving children phones because mine will too, but teaching them not to be rude little #$%^#s I think is just as necessary.
Going back to the actual topic, I used to be a server and you would be suprised at how many people actually ordered while on the phone. I honestly wanted to smack that phone out of their hands and tell them I'm a person too, so you need to pay attention to the person in front of you rather than the one who is 20 miles away. So I definitely understand "rude guests and their cell phones..."

The Absolute Best one though, is... You know how the British Monarchy trace their lineage back to Christ, and from Christ to God? (Thus the Divine Right to Rule) Well, the Vikings / Norse-type-people also traced their family lines back to their Pantheon of Gods and through them I am a direct descendant of the Norse God Odin.
Thus, you all have the great honor of knowing....
