Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

My power bill came and as I don't yet have any personal checks I can't set up electronic bill pay nor mail in my payment. The UPS Store next to the neighborhood Publix (where I needed to go anyway) takes payments for Progress Energy so I went by there. They only take personal checks, money orders, and cash for bill payments, not debit or credit. The whole reason I went there is because I don't have any checks and I don't carry that much cash on me usually so going there was a waste of time. I figured they would take debit or credit, I mean who doesn't anymore? I could understand if it was something to make sure they get their money but debit is more secure than checks are in that way! I'll get some money out of the ATM at work today and pay my bill tomorrow I guess.

I then go by Publix to get a few things. I needed some undershirts but they don't carry them though they carry underpants. I wound up driving through 2 or 3 shopping centers in the immediate area and stopping in a CVS Pharmacy before finding a Dollar General that had some undershirts. I wouldn't have minded so much but I had cold groceries I wanted to get home. That and when I go shopping I hate just driving around, I want to get to the store and get what I need.

Then I get home and there's a delivery notice on my door from the postman. I must have just missed him as I wasn't gone all that long, maybe 30 minutes. There's this convenience card that my complex offers that I have (and pay for) that includes signing for and leaving packages in my apartment. Apparently the postman was to stupid to go by the office with my package. I can pick up the package tomorrow morning from the post office, thankfully it is right across the street so I don't have to go looking for it.
Its probably your checks!!!

I wish. I haven't had a chance to even order them yet though, I'm doing that next week.

That's the big reason I need checks also. I never write checks except for rent. I just haven't gotten around to ordering some since I opened my account at Partners FCU. Next week on one of my day's off I'll run by the Team Disney branch (where I can talk to a teller face to face, not through a camera like at the other branches) and order some.

Ribs and ham sounds good, maybe a double double with fries.
Big Hugs, let me know. Your email ended up in the junk file. I am at gmail, safer. Had to install something for Windows, silly computer dudes.

Oh look a cherry pie

I am now hoping to go to WDW in the next 40 years.

Oh look a regular sun.

Shorty, stop by your credit union and they will make you some counter checks with your account number on them to tide you over until you can get your regular checks.

And the stupid condition doesn't take into account what it does to your lower tract. Have you ever had a cement plug in your butt?
Mayonnaise wrote:When you say opiates do you mean the Vicodin or sommat else? They gave me Lortab, which is the same thing basically. They're different brand names of hydrocodone/acetaminophen pills. Hydrocodone being an opioid derived of opiates, so I'm not sure if you mean that or if you mean hydrocodones suck so I should have asked for opiates. They did not warn me anything about but plugs!

(8^S

Opiates= Narcotics. Anything like Vicodin (hydrocodone: is a combo of opioids and acetaminophen which is Tylenol!) , Percocet, (Oxycodone and acetaminophen), Dilaudid (Hydromorphone, no acetaminophen) and others as well as Morphine (MS Contin: NO acetaminophen, just opioids) and the newer ones like Oxycontin. The stronger ones have NO acetaminophen(Tylenol) in them, they are simply opioids whicjh are very efficient pain killers.

They all have opiates in them, the same way heroin is an opiate. They are narcotic pain killers and one should not drive or operate heavy machinery when using them. They can make you very sleepy or drowsy and they really kill pain, unless like me, you have been taking them for about 3 and half years. One develops a physical tolerance to them in that you will need higher doses to take away the same pain if you take them for long periods of time.

They can be psychologically addictive if one develops a mental need for them. Physical dependence does not always go hand in hand with a mental or psychological addiction.

In my case, I want to be off them, I do not want them in my body and I cannot wait to be done with them, but my body is physically dependent and will go through physical withdrawal symptoms until the opiates clear the body. Mentally I should not have too many issues getting off them, other than the discomfort of getting off them and wanting to stop the withdrawal symptoms, but I cannot wait til I am free of these meds. I have only taken them for my back problems. I do not take any drugs for recreational uses. I am looking so forward to being able to walk and NOT be on any drugs to keep pain away.

What else you want to know about em? Oh yeah, they DO cause constipation! You need to eat lots of fruit and drink lots of liquids when you take them. Butt plugs indeed!

OH wait...they just ran out the back door cause they heard my neighbor pulling in. Goody, they have a new victim now and I can get a restful night's slumber. I'm lockin' the doors so they dont come back. Does anyone have some Bozo repellant handy to spray around my doorframes? so they RUN AWAY, RUN AWAAY!

Ok, since I now make no sense whatsoever, it is time for me to go to bed..that and the fact it is 2AM.
I hate clowns too! I found several cool "I hate clowns" websites and I wear this shirt:

when I am having a particularly hard time getting rid of clowns from the woodwork! (Though my shirt is black print on a white tee shirt and it does not glow in the dark, I may HAVE to consider getting this shirt! I like it!) GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I hate clowns!
