How to Find a (Cheshire) Figment

Post by Cheshire Figment » Fri Jun 06, 2008 10:35 pm

A few months ago I bought a Ford Edge with a tow package so I could get an ECV lift installed, and also bought a new ECV since I had bought my old one about five years ago and it was a used rental.

The problem with ECVs is they normally come in either of two colors, Red or Blue. Some more expensive ones are also available in Champagne. Disney, of course, has to be different and uses Gray.

So I decided to use a large part of my Stimulus Check, and so if you see anyone driving around WDW in a Purple ECV with an Orange Rear, that is more than likely me. I don't think there is another one in the world with that color scheme.

Note Also the Ford's License Plate.

3/4 Rear view shows the Orange off also.

That's awesome! If it's possible to love an ECV, I love it!

Oh, by the way, I met a gentleman at the Epcot pin cart who was decked out in Figment wear and also loves Cheshire Cat. I gave him your name at DIS, Cheshire Figment... just wondering if he ever looked you up?

I had taken it Monday to a good body shop in South Kissimmee, brought along the manual so they could remove parts as needed and took along a plush Figment so they could do color matching. When I went today to pick it up my reaction was just WOW!

They really did it right.

Cool paint job. A little pin striping, some mags, a lift kit, and you'll be stylin'. :D:

That is officially the coolest ECV in the history of the mode of transportation.

Now I can see it, thanks. That is awesomely cool looking. Hope we get a chance to see it in person this fall.

LOL..I was telling Donnie about it before and we said you should have had them put orange wings on it, like the old fin type cars. I said heck for that, put some yellow rings on the front for the eyes and have the whole package...LOL
