Security at WDW is just as lax as ever. A friend of mine is a deputy sheriff for Orange County. Her job is to test the various security at the local theme parks and just about every time she is able to reach the place she it attempting to go. Now her job is to place a phony explosive device at a target in the park. A few weeks ago she was in a van and called security over to the van and "killed" each and every one of them. After a she had "killed" 5 or 6 of the security CMs she then told the first person that she had encountered to call her manager for back-up. The manager was just as bad, and Disney is just as bad as the rest of the parks.

Tighter security. They're also using K-9 units not only on guests, but cast members too. I was told (after seeing one of them in passing), that we have 3 labs, a lab mix (i forgot what he's mixed with), and a Shepherd.

I am not saying Stupidity should be illegal or anything!! But lets just remove the warning labels from hazardous items and let the problem solve itself.Author Unknown

for those of who have access to portals, it's on there that they're doing random "pluto unit" searches of Cast Members, i belive it said that if you are selected for the search, remain calm, and still, until the search is, over. It makes me wonder if soemthing is up, i also heard on the news today that the alert level is orange, i can't remeber if that's up or down, but by the tone of the suited man on tv, it seems like up, i also think it was mainly for the north east area.

Getting someoone back at K-Lot checking IDs might have had something to do with people who positioned themselves at various intersections around the Resort with huge banners that said "SHAME ON DISNEYLAND RESORT - LABOR DISPUTE" in big red letters....

The security union still hasn't brokered a deal yet huh?
