I think that the park policies should be made more clear.

I don't know if the policies are different for each park, but from what I've heard, guests are not allowed to kiss face characters on the cheek (I think one on the hand is acceptable if the character allows it). However, I've seen pictures of little boys kissing princesses on the cheek (I've even heard reports of face characters actually asking children for kisses), so I'm guessing that some CMs will bend the rules for young children. The strange thing is that I've also seen pictures of grown women kissing Captain Jack Sparrow on the cheek, so I guess that it all boils down to the CM's comfort level.

The problem is that guests may not realize that certain things that can be done with fur characters may not be acceptable when it comes to face characters.

Kissing is up to the CM (same goes that it is up to the CM for kissing guests).

I don't know the policy for face characters, but pretty much everything is up to the CMs discretion. You just have to make sure you don't put yourself in what could be construed as a compromising situation. The princesses kiss people on the cheeks all the time, my cousin's little girl had quite the collection of lipstick marks! Minnie is a terrible flirt with the boys, and of course Stitch likes to kid around. Joanna has a great picture "Stitch" proposing.

Not innappropriate per se, but I had a girlfriend who had a serious love of Micky Mouse. When I finally brought her to Disney World and she got to the autograph center in Mickey's Toon Town and finally had Mickey to herself... well, I think he might have jumped up a couple of feet in the air as she ran screaming "MICKEEEEEEE!!!", grabbed him and started bawling her eyes out. My GF at the time was 19 and a cute Italian girl so it probably wouldn't have scared the (probably girl) actor, but probably freaked him out a bit. Thankfully she composed herself quickly but I thought it was pretty funny.

I strongly believe that WDW is NOT an appropriate venue for any sexually-related antics. Just wrong, wrong wrong place for it. That being said, on a hot day, I've noticed that there are MANY scantily-clad young females in the park (tank tops with no visible means of support, short shorts etc.) and it's hard for a red-blooded male in his procreation-age prime not to notice. Sad, really. Gotta hand it to your hormones but they rule the roost. Thankfully I know how to draw the line.

That reminds me that I've noticed a real drop in the quality of clothing when people come to the park. Gone are the days when fathers wore slacks with collared shirts and moms wore dresses. I once remember my dad being pretty much the only one (happened in the 70s) wearing shorts and sandals to WDW that day and me being really young but still noticing that - even though they were white shorts with a belt - we were "under-dressed". Today, his outfit would be considered overdressed at WDW.

What I have really noticed on this topic is the difference in between parks. The universal crowds seems to me to dress even worse. Another interesting observation- At MK exiting after wishes, I have noticed that the people in the resort monorail line are much nicer. I think it has to do with them spending MUCH more money and appreciating it more.

Funny thing is, Disney isn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination. You're lucky to bring change from $500 when you take a family of 4. Eat at one of the better restos and you're easily breaking that limit.

Maybe people realise that you shouldn't wear nice things because they get condiments, dirt, sweat and water all over them at the park anyway, but still. Are clean, unripped clothes too much to ask for? The ironic thing is, I'll bet it's the poorer guest who actually go to the trouble of dressing up...
