So i was in recent talks with Pollar, and Big Wallaby about adding a chat system to the site. Both said that it would be an intresting idea to try out I am working on an IRC based web portal ( and dont worry those of you who know how to use IRC clients, you will be able to access it from out side of the site on mirc or pirch or any flavor you choose. )
Due to VB's limitations, I will post a link that will allow everyone to open a web client in a seperate window untill we can get the bugs worked out.
The poll i have put up is to get your reactions on how well this would be recieved by the rest of us.... so let your voice be heared!!!!

I voted to use it but I did want to vote for the bottom one since I havent the foggiest what all the stuff you guys were talking about means....LOL Most of the other websites I chat on have an option to open in another window. That is about as technical as I get...lol

I didn't vote- cause my option isn't there- I would likely pop in sometimes but unfortunately, my vision problems make chat really hard for me- i can't really do it anymore because my good eye tires very quickly.

just for my own sanity i am currently testing it on an AccesIRC.net server ( if you know subsonicradio.com then you know why... =-P ) mainly due to netsplits and sever unavailablity is why a larger irc system for now.
The script is remotly hosted via mibbit.com and is configured to our needs... if you want to ee the current code i am working with take a look at this...

Dont worry about a pasword... thats probable comming out... its intended for nickserv ( techie stuff )
