I understand that one to be fairly new. I am sure about 3% of the guest population of the queue actually understand the joke.

That's what I find amusing about it though, is that it'll fly over their heads and they'll be left with a was that supposted to be funny or serious? look on their faces.

Ok fine, here's a joke everyone can appreciate (and if they don't get it, they shouldn't be in line for Jungle Cruise anyways!) This is a little more complex than the normal spiels over the PA, and needs a second skipper hidden elsewhere in the queue. One time a skip climbed up top in the roof for this one. Anyways, they wait for a part in the queue music to start spieling and the cue for the second skip to do his part. I haven't heard the spiel myself (the couple times they've done this, I've had the rare luck of being on a boat when they do this) so this isn't the exact spiel, but just enough to give you a general idea. The skip on the mic would say something along the lines of "Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please? The sun has almost set in the jungle which means the adventurous baby hippos are now returning to their homes, and if you listen carefully, you might hear them calling for their mother right about now. Shhhh . . ." and then the second skip hidden in another part of the queue starts to shoud "HEY MOM! MOM! WHERE ARE YA MOM!"

That i just wrong.... I know Wilson peronly, and he would never consort with a Jungle Skipper, even after a few helpings of Dawa.....

I use my "underside of water" bit when going under the water bridge on my way to/from MK.

I hope that it does not cause a problem with you JC skippers.

But then again, the underside of water looks a lot like concrete.

You noticed that too, huh?

And I also know Wilson personally. and sometimes he says some interesting things when you're out on Safari.

"Simba One, come in!"

"Go ahead, Wilson!"

...

"Wilson, you there?"

...

"Wilson?"

...

"Hello, Wilson! I wonder where he went... Hmm... Look over there to the right, there's a Baobab..."

...

And that's when you know that he's been spending quality time at the Dawa, 'cause he forgets his next line.

That arm is ALWAYS falling off. You'd think he'd get it splinted or something.

Did I ever tell my story of having a Disneyland Jungle Cruise skipper on my bus? I would go look myself, but with 2,701 posts to dredge through, I don't have the time or inclination. If anyone remembers the story, then let me know.

I don't think there would be any problems with that, unless you get someone to hose the side of the bus down and start yelling at the big shot over there, or offering ginger snaps to guests :p:

I never saw it, so I'd be happy if you told it again.
