And HP builds Microsoft-based PCs... (I'll bet that the majority of the computers you listed are HP)
HP builds PC's and installs Windows on them. Smart people format the drives and install linux or freebsd :D:

Dell's run both linux AND freebsd very nicely :)

Really smart people would partition the drive and run all three.

What if I'm running Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and OSX on the same box?
Oh, the other reason for windows, most people are familiar with that OS, which is why many companies go with it on the front end.

I don't understand the major dislike of Vista. I like it. What are the issues people have with it?
Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.
Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.

If Disney has such a relationship with Apple why is everything Windows based? The registers run on a version of Windows, the Photopass computers run on Windows, Photopass's PDAs run on Windows, the computers we use to program the sewing machines run on Windows, and so on. I don't know of any computer that doesn't run on Windows.
That is why MiMs does not work. Another winblows fiasco. An "ix" kernel would work much better in this case.
