I treated my mom to brunch at my school's dining hall [she loves my school's omlettes. bizarre.] then I took her to Balboa Park for a organ concert and for the Pompeii exhibit at the natural history museum.

Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.

Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.

I took my Mom to the Grand Floridian for tea. I didn't tell her where we were going, just to dress up and be ready to leave. We had a wonderful evening and finished up with a monorail ride once around the resort. Very relaxing.

My mum wanted the whole family together for dinner at... The Country Drive In. It's not at all fancy, used to be a drive in restaurant now it's counter service outdoors.... but what mom wants, mom gets!!!

She also got a $40 gift card for her favorite nice dine in restaurant, so she and my father can go have the $10 Sunday special they so love, twice, on me.

8^)

My plans got derailed by a sick grandmother. I had to drive to Pittsburgh on Saturday so I was only able to give her a gift and a card. I wanted to make breakfast in bed for her but it didn't really happen.
