Ah okay.

There was a walk-through Mummy attraction at USH about 3 years ago... Maybe it was temporary.

Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.

Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.

I don't know about Universal Studios Hollywood, I'm talking about Universal Studios Florida.

There is now a Mummy coaster at both Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood. Both are highly themed indoor coaster attractions (although ours in Florida is better! :D :) . The walk through attraction you're referring to I think was a behind the scenes look at sets and props from the Mummy movies and did contain some themed characters who interacted with you. We had a smaller version here in Florida for awhile.

I can confirm the Walk Thru Mummy Attraction at Universal Hollywood.
It was a maze you had to walk through with all sorts of critters jumping out at you....one scared me so bad I nearly shoved the poor actor back! There were lots of props from the movie in the queue also.

Sounds a lot like the Indiana Jones attraction.

Probably. But I think the hurricanes even both coasts out.
