I loved the show with Whoopie. The rapids are a must see. The sun wheel slowly loads then one trip around and unloads. I liked Screaming but it is not top on my list of life things to do. Maliboomer is history as well.
Bobsleds are a must as they are the original steel coaster of Disney, the best as far as i am concerned and i have ridden them over 200 times.

Pardon me for being envious right about now.Zazu wrote:Even Walt was real then, as I spotted him walking through Fantasyland with a gaggle of kids.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Actually, Arrow Development's Matterhorn is the first steel coaster of *anywhere*. Yup, another Disney first!mechurchlady wrote:Bobsleds are a must as they are the original steel coaster of Disney, the best as far as i am concerned and i have ridden them over 200 times.

Hi everyone!!
Well, still in Anaheim but done with my Disney time :(
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions - I was able to hit everything I really wanted to get to plus most suggested locations. Big kudos to Zazu for recommending Golden Dreams - that was really quite moving!! Screamin' and Grizzly Rapids were great, but the award for best ride in my opinion had to go to Space Mountain. That was just incredible!!! Indiana Jones was spectacular as well, moreso for the design and size of the attraction...definetely a Disney best.
Vineyard Room was very good, and the pomme frittes at Cafe Orleans are addicting. :)
I don't want to start a bicoastal war here, so I will say my next statement cautiously and hope you will take it in a spirit of love and camraderie. To all of you DL CMs, my hat is off to you. I know WDW is a hard place to work and smile while people are raging, but the level of SGs I saw at DL was just ridiculous. I honestly don't know how you do it...well, I do, but I know I would go crazy if I worked there. I don't know what it is - if its the market segments (familys vs. weekend day guests) or what, but the SG level was unlike anything I saw at WDW, and believe me I saw a lot. Every single one of you who I encountered was pleasant, polite, and handled the SGs with appropriate levels of firmness and guest service. I was really quite proud of all of you because I would lose my mind if I worked there. So, major props for keeping the Disney Magic alive and well in Anaheim!!!
