Yep, there are a LOT of Disney haters, and will use any reason to tear it down!! They are the worst kind of SG's!! And they seem to be popping up everywhere.svickersart wrote:Actually Walt Disney was very forward thinking, the Main Street Vehicle were supposed to be propane powered because propane, unlike gas or diesel is a 100% burn so no hydrocarbons into the air, very clean burning. I dont know if this is still true or not, maybe some of you do. The trains at Disneyland are now run on biodiesel so they are not patroleum based anymore. The Walt Disney company is progressive and changes with the times, they have to in order to stay in business, what was the norm when they opened isnt acceptable anymore, in fact many things that were acceptable 20 or even 10 years ago are not any more. This womans statement was really dumb, most are trying to clean up their acts, the government requires it and from what I have heard Disney is doing even more than whats required and there are much worse companies out there, many that cant even meet the governments regulations. Sound to me like shes one of those Disney haters and wants to try to ruin the magic for anyone else.

On my writer's site, someone posted a virtual bubble wrap sheet; you click on the bubbles to pop them (with real sound); when you've popped the last bubble, you hear this woman's voice saying, "I must have more....!" and a new sheet pops up. I'll look for the virtual bubblewrap site and post it here, if you like.

That's just not the same, for me it is about the tactile sensation as much as the auditory reinforcement.

I'm working on the first of what I plan to be a seven volume series of a semiautobiographical fantasy. Someday I may do a non-fiction on something else, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Right now I have a monthly blog on pet-owning renters on MySpace; addy's in my siggy. It's set to Public, so you should be able to access it, no problems.
