Very sad, DW also has a bit of ire for the Mohegan Sun and another one near Boston, as my MIL and her "boyfriend" would go there and gamble, even though she didn't really have all that much money. And they prey on the older people, fee buss rides etc.
Of course we didn't find out until later.

My mother-in-law lives in Vegas and hangs at a casino that caters to the Sun City types. She actually does pretty good on penny Keno and gets a lot of comps by using her casino card whenever she bets. There lies the problem.
Turns out the casino reports all winnings to the IRS but doesn't report the off setting losses. She got screwed on so bad that her accountant told her to quit using the card. There goes the comps.

Yeah, when we were cleaning out her house we found all kinds of stuff, engraved glasses, jackets with the logo's, all kinds of keychains and give away junk. brand new kitchen knife sets and glass sets still in the box.
And the IRS KNOWS what goes on!! that is for sure!!

Council Bluffs has 3 casinos now. I don't know about the eastern side of the state, I only know about the western side. :) Ameristar, Harrahs and one other (also owned by Harrahs) They're packed all the time. And no, the area isn't all that wealthy. Chris and I go every 12-18 months spend 10 bucks and leave. LOL I won 200 one night. We don't get the whole "wow" factor to gambling. Just doesn't make sense. But, then people wonder why we blow our money on Walt. LOL
Nebraska is still against gambling as a whole but you couldn't tell that by the traffic on that side of the river. Nebraska cars as far as the eye can see.

Thankfully Iowa does have it set up so that the casinos have to pay a lot of money into the state. Roads, Schools, and other important causes are getting funding through them.

Geämi Protective Packaging System, which when properly applied cushions better than bubble wrap, and is more environmentally friendly than bubble wrap since it's 100% paper from "sustainable forestry certified fibers" rather than plastic. Someone properly trained can wrap most items using the Geämi System without any tape, which is a contrast to the copious amounts of tape used by some to wrap using conventional methods.
On the other side of the street, in Emporium, Geämi was abandoned in favor of conventional wrapping materials like tissue and bubble wrap because the dispenser needed for the Geämi System supposedly "kept breaking." I personally suspect Cast Member resistance to new methods and an unwillingness to learn, leading to poorly trained personnel improperly reloading the machine. Most of the mishaps I've seen involving Geämi machines were due to improper loading of the paper causing jams. One loaded Geämi machine can wrap many more items than an equivalent volume of bubble wrap.
I love that stuff! The only place I have ever seen it used is Disneyland and WDW! It is great and really protects the breakables. I save it all when we get home to pack breakables that I have to send as gifts to family! That stuff is genius!

When I explained to him that Disney does not own the airport he told me "Yes they do. If it was not for them building the parks, then Orlando would not be so big and they would not have to make the airport bigger."
I just laughed.

The only downside is the loss of all the fun breaking the bubbles in the bubble wrap. :(

Oh that simple, you get this
Electronic bubble wrap key chain and don't feel guilty.

DW got a program for her sewing machine (yes, its computerized!) and they had put the CD in bubble wrap.
One of the grumpy pups picked it up when it had fallen to the floor. You should have seen the look on his face when he popped one!!
He dropped in and ran over to DW!!
Just wish the camera had been available!!

Actually Walt Disney was very forward thinking, the Main Street Vehicle were supposed to be propane powered because propane, unlike gas or diesel is a 100% burn so no hydrocarbons into the air, very clean burning. I dont know if this is still true or not, maybe some of you do. The trains at Disneyland are now run on biodiesel so they are not patroleum based anymore. The Walt Disney company is progressive and changes with the times, they have to in order to stay in business, what was the norm when they opened isnt acceptable anymore, in fact many things that were acceptable 20 or even 10 years ago are not any more. This womans statement was really dumb, most are trying to clean up their acts, the government requires it and from what I have heard Disney is doing even more than whats required and there are much worse companies out there, many that cant even meet the governments regulations. Sound to me like shes one of those Disney haters and wants to try to ruin the magic for anyone else.
