Just A Thanks!

I have been meaning to post here for a while but i just haven't gotten around to it.

This past spring break 5 of my friends and myself went to the world for the week of March 18-22. Every Cast Member we met was absolutely amazing but there were two that stuck out in my memory. One was on the night of the 20th at Epcot extra magic wristband distribution. She was helping me with my wristband and she asked me if i was having a good day so far and i looked up and said "how could I not? Were in Disney!" and she squeezed my wrist and whispered "I know!" That for me was just magical knowing that she could still feel the way i was even though she worked there and was there every day.
The second instance was at Magic Kingdom at about midnight. We were exiting Peter Pan's Flight when there was three CM's talking. Me being a pin collector, saw a Minnie pin that i really like, I walked over to them and asked if i could trade with her. She said of course and as she was taking off her pin my other friend who is doesn't quite get the magic like us saw a woody pin that she had been looking for for ever and started to get really excited. She ran into the nearby store to buy a pin to trade with and when she came back she asked him if she could trade for his Woody pin. He replayed by saying that he just traded it with a girl a couple seconds before. She starts to get really really sad. Then the CM pulls the Woody pin out of his pocket and said " oh wait, do you mean this pin?" My Friend gets ecstatic and actually starts to cry she was so happy. She handed him the other pin and he said "just take it". It absolutely made her trip, like i said, she is not as into the magic as the rest of us are but she said that she couldnt believe how nice he was and how special that moment was for her and thats why she started to cry.

All in all it was an incredible trip but those two moments just reinforced the fact that i want to be a cast member when i grow up. Thanks to those two CM's, you really made out trip magical!

That's so great!
Despite what some of us say we really LOVE our jobs. In fact it isn't even work for us until we find some SGs. When we find people that love it as much as we do we enjoy sharing the moment with them! I'm glad you had such a wonderful time! I was down there that week too working over at Epcot. I hope we see you again real soon and we can convert your friend again. ;)

Isn't it great how a little gesture can go such a long way towards fueling the magic. It's not just at WDW; at DL this past week a CM made my day with a couple of Fastpasses. It was great seeing that the DL CMs are on a par with their East Coast counterparts. :D:
