Great news for me!

Post by ectomstr » Fri Apr 25, 2008 10:25 pm

I've worked at WDW for like 7 months now. when my insurance kicked in I jumped on it instantly. For anyone who's worked at MK and has seen the geeky, little nerd with the prosthetic leg (that being me), this insurance was huge. I'm getting a new prosthetic to finally replace my 6 year old, falling apart prosthetic. I'm amazingly excited about this as it'll look like a robotic leg. The best part is i'm getting it on my 24th birthday.

That's awesome!!! Congrats on the new leg! (That sounded weird...)
I am worried about the insurance kicking in after I transfer to FT. I am worried that I have to work the 90 days after a transfer from CT. Even my CSM isn't sure. Good for you!

BTW I just noticed I passed the 500 post mark!

Off of Old Lake Wilson. In what's basically a vacation home community.

Awesome, I know there are a number of those here.

I'm in Providence.

Congrats! Is it too weird to say "Break a Leg"? ;) Yep, I went there...no insult intended... I have a very strange sense of humor. I am also self deprecating, I will use my weird sense of humor on myself. Hey, I have to laugh, otherwise the pain I am in, would have me crying 24/7.;( Laughter helps.... :)

I am so happy for you! Insurance is soooooo important!

Are you going to be like Lee Majors on "The 6 Million Dollar Man?"? J/K! If you were, you could kick my butt here in Colorado from Florida with a bionic leg. ;) LOL! And I would deserve it! :o:

PM me where you are going to be or your cell # if you would like to meet Ralphie and me (or to kick me in the butt ;) ) when we get to WDW! I would like to meet you. We will be there soon! (5/2-5/20) YAY! I LOVE the Magic Kingdom! Philhar ROCKS!!!!!!!

Health insurance is getting me through right now with my bad spine [flattened disk(s)] and crushed sciatic nerve. I will get to have surgery all paid for and hopefully be able to walk again for a long periods of time. I can only walk for about an hour or two right now. So I understand how happy you are with insurance! It is great you now have it! :D:

May you enjoy only good health and seldom have to use it! But knowing it is there is a Godsend! :)

sues

Oh and Happy Birthday! When is it? If it is when we are down there, I will come find you and sing loudly and off-key, "Happy Birthday to you"... J/K...maybe... ;)

Well, someday, we will meet you there! I am looking forward to it!
We have resses for Cinderella's table, I think we have them for breakfast, lunch and dinner on different days of our trip tho. I am going to cancel a couple. Which is the best for food and Princess interaction? I will cancel the other two. Our itinerary planner went a little crazy with character meals, as I asked for several!
We also have O'hana with Lilo and Stitch, Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree dinner. A shitload of character meals....They also have us at Park Fare with Cindy and friends, another one I am going to cancel in favor of a burger and fries at a counter service somewhere. I prefer casual.... Too many character gigs on this trip! Gotta clear some off the schedule.
So someday we will meet you! I promise! You sound like a fun prson who has a lot of inner strengh and peace. Like my Ralphie who went through that accident. It is on one of the threads here if you have not heard his story...He is lucky to be on the planet with us.
Anyway...

Your birthday is this Wednesday, before we get there! I will be sure to remember on Wednesday! hehehe...
Sues
