I'll have to dig up a photo of me in my plaid tuxedo (from a production of
Forever Plaid) and post it here.
Muy macho.

Plaid rules! I wear plaid everyday at work, just a different plaid than they wear in City Hall.
I have nothing but respect for the CMs who work Guest Relations, their having to put up with pissed off guests all to often. I've only had to go into GR for good things, never for anything that has pissed me off but I have sent annoyed guests there before. I can't do anything about PAC not doing their job and keeping a path open so people can get through the crowds during the parade (1) or Mary Poppins and Bert apparently being a little rude (2). I don't enjoy sending pissed off people over there but complaining to me won't solve the problem but complaining to City Hall might. I've also sent a number of guests over there for good things, such as birthday, anniversary, and first-timer buttons.
1. That happened a few weeks ago, a woman complains to me and another CM with me about how there is no path open in front of Expo Hall. There's nothing I can do about that but City Hall can get in touch with PAC so hopefully it doesn't happen again so I told the guest it would be a good idea for her to try to get over there and complain.
2. Yesterday or the day before I was working Expo Hall again and a guest comes up and complains to me about how Mary and Bert were rude to her kids. I'm not exactly sure how they were rude but they apparently were (at least to this woman's mind). They and a number of other characters may come through my building going to and from their meet locations but I have nothing to do with them. I sent her over to City Hall also.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.
We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Keep moving forward

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Those GR CMs are awesome. We had one great gal at Epcot's GR help us. (YEP, major SG moment for us) But the stuff they have to put up with every day has to be ridiculous.

Hey there, it's the princess again, LOL! Anyway, thanks for your congratulations and warm wishes. I have a feeling that I will like this new job a lot. I also have a place to live all lined up as well (renting out a room at my friend's mother's house). So it's gonna be very exciting.
For Narnia! And for Aslan!

Yes, as of June, I will be working as a Ticketing Specialist Intern for WDW. I am so excited and happy right now. I cannot believe that I'll finally be getting my Disney career underway. It's wonderful.

This is great! Glad to hear it.
Come back after being gone so long, and come to good news? Always a wonderful thing.
