my new internship

Post by disneyprincess1988 » Thu Apr 24, 2008 12:04 pm

Well, fellow SGers, I found out some amazing news last night: I got one of the Advanced Internships that I applied for. Yes, as of June, I will be working as a Ticketing Specialist Intern for WDW. I am so excited and happy right now. I cannot believe that I'll finally be getting my Disney career underway. It's wonderful.

For Narnia! And for Aslan!

:jasmine: :minnie: :bouncemic :skellingt :gonzo: :pepe:

All of my favorite Disney characters up above there. :p:

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Congrats! Does that mean that you will be working in the Kissimmee office or Vacation planning. That's sooo cool! I am considering applying for a GR TA while I am down there for a year full-time. I am conflicted as I like attractions but, to quote Grey's Anatomy, "[Guest Relations] is hot. It's the Marines. It's macho. It's hostile. It's hardcore!"
LOL!

CONGRATS. I work for Disney also, consumer division.
Of course I also work for the Miller Brewing Co. Have fun at work, and keep us abreast. (he said breast) :D:

Congratulations! The DLR Ticketing Office is actually located just behing my location, so I've talked with a few of their CMs at times over the timeclock. They, among other things, handle issuing of Main Gate Passes, Comp Tickets and those kinds of things.

Let's analyze this.

"[GR] is hot." - Well, they do walk around in the hot sun a lot.

"It's the Marines." - Well, they are sticklers for Disney Look and courtesy.

"It's macho." - Er...not sure on this one, let's pretend you didn't say it ;) .

"It's hostile." - Ever been in City Hall after they cancel the fireworks? It IS hostile.

'It's hardcore!" - Female Tour Guides carry around a riding whip for goodness' sake. Ain't nothing more hardcore than that ;) .

(I'm just kidding, lol. I <3 GR, I want to transfer there eventually myself. I'm just in a jovial mood over something myself, lol.)

But to get the most macho out of the plaid, nothing can be worn under it. Right? ;) :D:
