I've long since lost amazement. That's how often I've had to tell people to get down from things (and since I don't work a ride, that's pretty sad).
Sarah Magdalene wrote:Yeah, the whole Cheese/Cheesecake thing is rather repetitive.

All the ones I remember:

Lilo and Stitch - They are always going to get snacks due to Stitch's huge appetite. Pineapple juice and coconut cookies are the norm. Once it was Oreos. Sometimes, if they arrive a little late, they had to clean up their bedroom. Lilo sometimes has to finish her homework.

Mickey - If he's appearing solo, like in Toontown, he has to go and talk to Donald about the huge mess in the he left in his kitchen.

For Minnie, A package arrived from Clarabelle Cow filled with all kinds of cheese. Daisy called and is holding on the other line, she wants to know what time their shopping trip is. The specialty party dress she ordered from the seamstress just arrived in the mail, she should go check it out.

Daisy-Touch up her makeup, call and check on the boys (huey, dewey, louie).

Donald - Get some water (he's a duck, he needs water).

Jiminy Cricket - Meeting with the blue fairy.

Pinocchio- Gepetto is looking for him back at the toy shop.
Those are good ones.

Too bad Disney doesn't own HP. That would be a good one.

"Nobody died."

Got 'em every time.
HA!! Love it!

Some other good Character excuses:

Mickey: Minnie wants to borrow the credit card to go shoe shopping. He has to go feed Pluto.

Minnie: She is always making Mickey cheesecake. For once, I want to eat the cheesecake, sexism at its finest.

Lilo and Stitch: Hula lessons or have to catch an experiment.

Pinocchio: Jiminy Cricket needs to talk to him.

Meeko: John Smith brought biscuits or Pocahontas wants to talk.

Mushu: The guardians have to have a talk with him. Uh-oh!

Piglet: Help Eeyore find his tail or go get some honey with Pooh.

Daisy: check on April, May, and June (her nieces)

Br'er Rabbit: Fix whatever mayhem Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear have caused.

Donald Duck: Run back for some Quackers and milk (haha), Chip and Dale are causing problems, or time to check on the nephews.
More good ones. One of my favorites was when I was with Daisy in Town Square. When it was time for her to go, I told the people it was time for her to go do what she does best...spend all of Donald's money. :D:

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

I work in merchandise and I have to tell people to get down way to often. You just reminded me of another time yesterday. I was working at Pin Cart (outside of the Confectionery) and Jiminy Cricket was greeting guests just across the way by the big planet outside of Tony's. Well, two kids start climbing and walking on the planter and the attendant tells them to get down and then goes back to his work. One kid climbs down but the other doesn't so I quickly step over and tell him to and he does.

This planter has a high wall and a rail around the top so the part they were climbing on is very narrow.

Yesterday at Tip Board I didn't even have the pleasure of watching the parade after telling all those guests to hop down, I got bumped to break just before it reached the Hub.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

I was thinking more along the lines of, "Someone's been feeding Audrey II a little too much, and we've got to get it under control before it escapes and conquers the planet."

On the other hand, maybe not.

I remember during Knott's Scary Farm's Halloween Haunt/Camp Spooky, they had the maze for the vampires (forget what it was called) set up where Flying Ace Balloon Race was (they took it down temporarily to put up the maze), and it was extended behind the backdrop of Charlie Brown's Speedway, right at the border between Speedway and Huff'N'Puff. I was working Huff'N'Puff and a kid, very frightened, asked if their were monsters in the park in the daytime. I told him, "All the monsters are asleep in the daytime. We have rules for the monsters, and any monster that is caught scaring guests in the daytime is in for a lot of trouble!" He bought it!
