I totally agree with 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. In fact, on other boards #1 is brought up a lot. For #2, I had to deal with this one a lot when doing PAC. People just don't seem to realize that Little Person+ Big Float= Big Mess. The ropes are there for a reason! I had a few people follow me and the character off stage, and I had to tell them they couldn't be back there. One guest almost caught Tigger "undressed" (he had walked through a door, past a black curtain, and another door to come up to us. Good thing he was an adult). Finally, #8 is a big pet peeve with me. Please don't ask me if it is hot in there (hot where? It is 98.6, same as you and me), if they have AC (do you have AC inside you?), if it is hot in that suit (hey, you try convincing Baloo to shave. You know how stubborn bears can be. Or, Yeah Mickey is wearing a suit. but he is the boss, after all. ;) ), ect. I especially hate it when adults ask the questions in front of kids (not that it would change anything I tell you). Luckily I have never had any problems with #2 (no one has ever asked me that). And as for #3, I like telling people about my role (roles). I had a really nice conversation with a nice grandmother back on my second CP. If people are interested, I am more then happy to discuss my role with them. :)

I would agree with almost all of those. The one I do not agree with is #3. I actually loved my job and I do not mind people who are trying to be friendly asking me that, I like it when the guests try to talk with me (if I am in a position to do so, such as Greeter outside a ride). IMHO, if you hate your job that much, switch your line of business or work elsewhere, believe me, the pay is not what is keeping you at your job.

that would be fun, except that I don't think I would make a good CM. Youse guys seem to mostly deal with the SG's! I am afarid I would have to bounce one up and down the first time I saw them making the kids cry or otherwise being sg's!

It takes a lot of practice not to do that, that's for sure! ;)

I think the alligators would actually be a good theme response. You could also say something along the lines of: Our greenhouse is currently experiencing a drought. We are waiting for the rain to kick in. Or, our genetically modified plants have taken over and are being pruned into submission.

Well, sadly, thats the ol' Darwin Award kickking in for the parent! Trouble is, the kid will get hurt. I would hope that when it happens, as some place security or the CM puts it in a report that the parent was the proximal cause for being stoopid!

I'm amazed by the number of people who think sitting on rails or tall posts is a good idea.

I lost count of the number of people I had to tell to get off the rails and posts today while at Tipboard a little while before the parade. I told everybody from children to fully grown adults and went almost as far towards the Hub (if not a little farther) than I'm technically allowed while in costume to do so.

There were people who thought sitting on the concrete lamp bases that are five feet off the ground was a good idea. I can see parents setting their children up there so they can see but fully grown adults were doing it too. Adults are tall enough that they can sit on the ground by the rail until the parade starts then just stand up to see. Either way I made them get down.

I did it though it annoys the guests involved as I don't want to see somebody fall and get hurt. I don't want to ever have to call an alpha unit. Especially not for something that could have easily been avoided if the person would just rub two brain cells together and not do stupid things, such as sit on the narrow ledge of a lamp post five feet above a very hard concrete sidewalk.

Then again if they did that this site wouldn't be here and we would be without an online home to go to (or at least I would).

I'll admit I sorta sit on rails sometimes but that's because I'm so tall when I lean on one I'm nearly sitting on it but my feet stay on the ground. When it came to the rails I didn't bother the adults so much as their feet are on the ground so they are a lot less likely to fall than the kids whose whole weight is on the rail and could very easily fall if they lose their balance just a little.

Themed responses are fun. I try to think of fun ones for the characters when they go to get a "snack".

Yeah, the whole Cheese/Cheesecake thing is rather repetitive.

All the ones I remember:

Lilo and Stitch - They are always going to get snacks due to Stitch's huge appetite. Pineapple juice and coconut cookies are the norm. Once it was Oreos. Sometimes, if they arrive a little late, they had to clean up their bedroom. Lilo sometimes has to finish her homework.

Mickey - If he's appearing solo, like in Toontown, he has to go and talk to Donald about the huge mess in the he left in his kitchen.

For Minnie, A package arrived from Clarabelle Cow filled with all kinds of cheese. Daisy called and is holding on the other line, she wants to know what time their shopping trip is. The specialty party dress she ordered from the seamstress just arrived in the mail, she should go check it out.

Daisy-Touch up her makeup, call and check on the boys (huey, dewey, louie).

Donald - Get some water (he's a duck, he needs water).

Jiminy Cricket - Meeting with the blue fairy.

Pinocchio- Gepetto is looking for him back at the toy shop.
