Yeah, whatsa matter with you Shorty, asking that question on a public forum? You'll have all those lurkers from Board X demanding refunds because their magic has been ruined.
Go ask Zazu where the fireworks launch from. He'll probably tell you, but he'll have to whisper it in your ear. :D:
P.S. Miss ya, Shorty. Gidget, Shayla and Sisi say Hi.

They launch from all the hope, dreams, and wishes of everyone in the Magic Kingdom! Duh!

but if you really want to know...
There are a total of 10 launch modules (5 on top of the pooh/snow white building, 5 on top of the Philharmagic/pan building). See http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&F ... &encType=1
That is where the spray bottle fans or better a regular spray bottle with an adjustable spray comes in handy. Durring the day it's a mister to help keep you cool, and at night it becomes a distance heat source cooling device. "Oh, gee, I was trying to spray a mist of water to keep my asthma from flairing up (they don't know any different) and it somehow was set to stream. I seem to have put out your cigarette..all the way up to your elbow. You know, if you stand over in the smoking area you would be safe if a similar accident happens again." :D:

Okay, that map is just about the coolest thing I have ever seen. . .tyvm for the link!

And thanks Randy for being one of the kind ones who smokes in designated areas!

I'm all for the spray bottle idea but after reading what that one lady did to another over the imagined line-cutting at teacups- ack. I'm afraid to look at anybody sideways in the parks anymore!

What's sad is I can actually recall the month the aerial photo was taken: January/February 2007. Pooh is down for refurb. Chances are I'm down there somewhere by peter pan or strollers LOL!

And we can even narrow it down to just before the afternoon parade. The crowds are lining the road (and in adjacent photos the crowds along the streets remain about the same so the photos were taken at about the same time). And if you move over to the parade building behind Spash Mt you can see several of the parade units pulling out of the shelter and beginning to line up in prep of going on stage.

That's a good reason to convert your crutch into a sword crutch (like a sword cane but with a longer blade. Or maybe a switchblade scythe. That can double as a halloween prop. :D:  Just slip on a deep hood, click open the scythe, and speak in a mornful whisper. If "It is not nice to fool mother nature", it is definately bad news to fight with death. [evil laugh] (definately dating myself among those of us who remember that particular series of ads.)

I got to meet February today. Nice lady. I had just gotten back from break and got sent to a cart to bump a coworker to his break. A few minutes later she rolled up with her husband and introduces herself. It took me a second to realize what she was talking about though as while I knew it was Friday it didn't hit me it was Friday. We were only able to talk for a very few minutes though as I had other guests to help and they needed to get going on to other things.

Very long day today. I went in at 1 in the afternoon and originally had only a 6 hour shift but I extended a good bit and was there until 1:30 in the morning. That makes it a 12 hour shift. I'm glad the cafeteria is staying open 24 hours for Grad Nights, I was hungry when I got off and was able to grab some real food instead of vending machine fare. My pay for today is going to be good, 4 of my hours are being paid at time and a half as I worked over 8 hours in a shift. I wound up being in the cafeteria a lot longer than I planned too, I changed then went over to grab some food and got to talking to a custodial CM I know. I was in there until 2:20.

Now I'm off to bed. I'm very tired for some strange reason...
