We cannot physically push somebody off, but typically in a situation like that we will alert our attendants and immediately leave set. We do not stay there for that kind of behavior.

Oh dear god in heaven, take me now! Can't this lady make up her mind?!edua87 wrote:Coming from someone in the studios, Linda Skywalker still comes in at least once a week, for awhile she was stalking Ron Stoppable. Although now she comes in with lots of HSM stuff on and is now Linda Efron.
And to Grumpy Pirate, yes she is an AP.
For Narnia! And for Aslan!

That just scares me, Zac Effron is a real person. It's one thing to be enamored with a character, but that to me is way too close to being stalkerish for comfort.disneyprincess1988 wrote:Oh dear god in heaven, take me now! Can't this lady make up her mind?!

Snow White's situation reminds me of my days working at the ren faire ages ago. My character was a roundheel, and we ladies always had a lot of fun good-naturedly flirting with male guests, but sometimes we got unwanted attention. One day, I was strolling near the back 40 where it was much quieter than the rest of the faire. Three men surrounded me, tried to hand me $60 dollars and asked if that was enough. I was sure they had to be joking so I joked back, saying that it wasn't nearly enough for the likes of me. Well, they brought out more cash and asked again. I started to get very scared as I was in a pretty deserted area of the faire, but luckily a fellow character came by and I was able to call out a "hey rube" to him. He got me out of there quickly, thank god. I was really shaken up. After that, I tried not to be near the back 40 by myself. I hope Snow doesn't see that creep again.

myself and some others then talked about stalking, and that it was strange that someone would think that a CM would have anything to do with a creepy person like that!
OK I have to ask. What is "board x"

Board x is used in place the name of any board that we are complaining about. Apparently awhile back people would post complaints about other boards, and our members would inundate them with posts. In response to that we are not supposed to identify specific boards. Board x could be any number of boards that may or may not be Disney related (but they usually are).

Suddenly I am seeing a scene from a favorite non-Disney movie. Support Your Local Sheriff, when The new sheriff (James Garner) tells the person he is putting into a jail cell (Bruce Dern) with no bars, a chalk line across the opening, and a dab of wet red paint on the outside side of the line, "Oh, that? That's the guy who crossed the line earlier today."GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:It sounds like some of the previous "SG people" mentioned have, for whatever reason, taken on the creepieness. IT seems that one of them is simply "acting" and not really impaired in any way. Those are the ones that I would be wary of.
The drunk grabbing the princesses should be booted!
(OR, you could put the prince next to her, with a REAL sword or pike!)
That might make them pay attention to decorum, Especially if you put a little red paint on the blades!

Re: Hands off the Princesses
IMO all Attendants should have a Nextel (I know from my brother they don't in some parks) with a direct connection to Security. That way when somebody gets a little to "close" to a character, starts screaming that it is time for the character to head in or whatever they do, they can quickly call for assistance and Security can come running.EeyoresButterfly wrote:We cannot physically push somebody off, but typically in a situation like that we will alert our attendants and immediately leave set. My brother told me a story how one time this guy started cussing him up one side and down the other because his character had to go in. My brother had a Nextel that day and he called for Security who kicked the guy out. The Nextel has also helped defuse situations without him even using it. Just pulling it out and threatening to use it gets a lot of people to calm down.
I plan to sometime soon start going around and meeting characters and getting my picture taken with them and their autographs. It'll be fun. I might be a grown man and all but I love the characters. Don't worry, I'm not a creepy man who will start stalking a princess (Daisy Duck on the other hand... Just kidding! It'll mostly be the ones in locations with Photopass CMs there too. I'd rather add all the character shots to my growing collection of photos than dig up my camera. I plan on buying the CD one day, after I've gotten a whole heck of a lot of shots.
Oh, yeah, if anybody knows who was Chip's friend in front of the train station (I believe it was Chip and not Dale, but anyway) Wednesday afternoon tell him thanks. I was the tall guy with glasses who persuaded the Photopass CM out there to take our picture. Chip was funny that day and annoying his attendant by wandering off and going under the rope set up to funnel P&P Party guests to the right side of the station and doing a few other things.
The Photopass CM expressed a little hesitantation as she wasn't taking pictures of characters just then but IMO if you're right near a character then you take pictures of that character if a guest asks you to, especially if you're not busy.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Chipmunk ID 101 (from Sundee at the Ft Wilderness Campfire singalong, starring Chip and Dale). Chip has a dark "chocolate chip" nose and teeth close together. Dale has a reddish meatball nose and teeth far apart. I personally just shorten it to "chocolate" Chip. :D:Shorty82 wrote:Oh, yeah, if anybody knows who was Chip's friend in front of the train station (I believe it was Chip and not Dale, but anyway) Wednesday afternoon tell him thanks.

Of course the washer with the tape over it would not be used because of the firearms!
