The Big Meet

Post by CujoSR » Fri Jun 25, 2004 1:37 pm

For those who are not aware last night was our big meeting were many of
us were to get together and share stories. Even though only half of the
expected people showed up I still fell it was a resounding success. The
fact that we all got along turned what could have been a very akward
night into something more. I thank everyone who was able to make it
there and give us such a treat. Here are some pictures although I wish
the lighting was better.

Warning: These are high quality.

Anyone who was there want share thier night with us?

"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"

"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."

"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

MAN I wish I could've made it! It turned out that I had to go sign the
lease on the new house that I'm renting (yay!) so I wasn't done with that
until about 9. And then I had to go home and tell my other roommates
that I was moving out. Rough night but I was thinking about you all!

I can't speak for all who showed up, but I think our first meet was a
success. I for one had an awesome time. Special thanks to Cujo and
Polar for the invite. It was very cool seeing you again. Missed you. Have
to do that again in the future. Maybe next time I will actually go with you
to the park. Yay!! To all who were there, meeting you was a blast. Zazu,
you are one amazing storyteller. :giggles: Take care all and hopefully
we'll make this an annual event. Bye for now and keep those guests as
baffled as possible. I know I do and they always come back for
more.

Brightened the photos a little bit. Also my apologys to Zazu for cutting off
his lovely wife in the picture. I need a wider lens.

You're speaking for me just fine. What a great evening!
Special thanks to Cujo and Polar for the invite.
Hear, hear!!!

Yeah, and maybe we could have it at WDW next time]Zazu, you are one amazing storyteller. :giggles:[/quote]
Thanks, but while that's nice to hear, much credit should really go to our
guests who give us such great material to work with.
Take care all and hopefully we'll make this an annual event.
Well, my next visit to Disneyland is set for August 2005. Should we start
planning now?

Sounds like ya'll had a great time ... hopefully I'll be able to make it to
the next meet, things have just been too hectic around here with my
yearling in the hospital that there's no way I would have been able to
make it this time.

God must love stupid people. He made so many of them.
