I'm going to Disneyland 4/27 (Yay!)

Yep. I've Negotiated at priceline, and I just got off the phone with the Disneyland Hotel Reservation line, and I will be staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel from April 27-30!

Here is my plan so far:
Sun. 4/27: Electro-Synthemagnetic Dreams and Imagination Night. See the Electrical Parade @ 8:45 in DCA, Remember @ 9:25, and Fantasmic! @ 10:30. I also need to take a spin on BTMRR since it closes for refurb the next day.

Mon. 4/28: Manic Monday. Disneyland Day. I NEED to ride the Subs, so I will probably be there early. If anyone wants to meet for lunch somewhere (Blue Bayou anyone?) that could rock.

Tues. 4/29: Twofer Tuesday. DCA (and Disneyland) Day.

Wed. 4/30: Departure. My flight leaves at noon from John Wayne so depending on my mode of transportation, I may or may not get into the parks today.

I can't wait :D:

if I weren't already going on vacation this month, I'd ask if you were looking for anyone else in the Orlando area that wants to go.

Hope you have fun out here at the DLR! We may not be as big and all-encompassing as you guys, but we have our own certain charm, if I do say so myself; and of course, there's the feeling you get from knowing that you're in the only park that Walt Disney ever had the opportunity to walk through and help build up.

Don't forget to bring your WDW ID, we do give you guys Food and Merchandise discounts.

Weird advice, I know, but I've had a few WDW CMs at Cash basically kick themselves when they found out that we do give them a Foods discount. It's probably because the WDW parks only gives Foods discounts to "Florida-site" CMs (i.e. DLR CMs don't get them unless they're at Table Service or at their resort), and they think it's the same here.

alpine, LU, and bubble ladies, I'll definately shoot you a PM soon and we'll find time to hang out. The parks should be fairly empty based on the park hours ;)

Plus with DL open til only 8 on monday and tuesday, I'll need some kind of night time activity... some kind of meet or something. I can't go off property unless I have a ride.

glendalais, I have always been amazed that DL has so many discounts for their cast members, and wish that we got some more over here. It sucks having what little discounts we get on food in MK (table service only) blocked out for a few months during the free dining plan promotions for a month or two.

Slight bump here. It's less than 2 weeks away! Monday afternoon/evening or anytime Tuesday is good for a meet for me, so I'm scheduling 3 meets:

Meet 1: Monday 4/28 around 2pm at the Hub. May or may not disperse at the end of Disneyland's operating day.

Meet 2: Monday 4/28 Evening Meet TBA. Preferably for dinner of some kind after the park closes at 8. Unless someone can give me a ride or it is walking distance on Harbor, I can't leave Disney property. I was thinking Rainforest Cafe for this one, but I am open to other suggestions.

Meet 3: Tuesday 4/29 around 2 pm at Cafe Orleans for lunch (Mmmmm, Monte Cristo). Does anyone know if I have to make reservations for here or is it like Pizza Port and French market? If so, please RSVP either here or in a PM to me, and depending on how many people respond, the time may change slightly.

Please let me know via reply here or PM if you can come, or any changes/suggestions you can make to this rough plan.

It is a Table Service restaurant. However, the DLR doesn't really have the same problem with PS arrangements as WDW does. For a early afternoon lunch on Tuesday of 1-3 people, you should be able to walk up to the entrance and get a table.

Though, if you still want to make PS arrangements, just ring up the DLR Dining Line on 714-781-3463 (Tie Line 8232-3463).
