Ooo, I hope not! I have sung solos, but I much prefer being in a group -- covers up any weaknesses, you know! I sing baritone, though our arrangements often have our part way up in the tenor range. (But I don't complain, especially when I remember that the tenors are still having to sing higher than us!)

Oh, I'll for sure keep you all posted. I almost definitely won't be able to get to the parks until after the competition, which should be held on Saturday, July 4th. (That's not a busy day for any of you, is it?? :rolleyes :) Interestingly (to me at least), if I'm able to get free the next day and spend some time in DLR (hopefully wearing a shiny new gold medal), it will be 27 years to the day since my one and only previous visit, on 7/5/1982.

Wombat did you used to be with Village People as I keep seeing that and humming In the Navy.
