Either she's lying about who she played, or the reporter majorly misquoted her. If you're friends with Mickey, you can't also be friends with Timon or Pooh, and there's no WAY you can also be friends with Tigger!
(Okay, that sentence makes the "be friends with" construction sound REALLY strange, but you all know what I mean.)

Also, the way you all were talking about the article, I thought it was going to be about something horrible she'd done while working, but really, what she said was pretty mild. Disney isn't going to care, and it's not going to affect her rehire status. And it's five years old anyway.

Definitely one of the 2. It could even be both.Amphigorey wrote:Either she's lying about who she played, or the reporter majorly misquoted her. If you're friends with Mickey, you can't also be friends with Timon or Pooh, and there's no WAY you can also be friends with Tigger!

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

So... Disney characters are like junior high school, really cliquish and "OMG I am so not being friends with you if you are friends with..."???Amphigorey wrote:Either she's lying about who she played, or the reporter majorly misquoted her. (Yes, I know what you meant. But it does sound funny when put that way!)

Just to clarify, if you are friends with Mickey you can be friends with Timon or Pooh, depending, but Tigger is definitely out of the question.
