Re: Towel Animals
Who has room for lamps in their luggage at the end of a WDW trip ? ! ? ! ?
If they shipped them, why not just buy new from the gift shop.
It's great getting towel animals, but we have a book and can MAKE towel animals for Mousekeeping to see.

Ohhhh!! I don't wanna give her any ideas!! We already have all the quilts we will ever need, we have an extra closet full of outfits she has made (and entered in contests) and so on..Randy B wrote:And if you are doing them at home for decorative pieces you can sew the pieces together. Then they won't come apart and can be moved without fear. And you can use fancy buttons instead of stickers.
Randy
Although she could probably figure out how to make them with buttons or velcro, so that you could use the towels, then after its dry, refold to the shape!

Heeheehee...I NEVER have room for lamps in my suitcase, It is too full of the bedspreads, sheets, shower curtain, telephone, (complimentary to wear while you're there robes), all the hangers, iron, blowdryer and the drapes! LOL! JUST KIDDING!!!! :p:Near Philly wrote:Who has room for lamps in their luggage at the end of a WDW trip ? ! ? ! ?

That is cool that they sell them in the gift shop. Probably because so many SG's stole them! I will have to checl out the Mickey lamps. If my house is gonna be Disney themed, I may as well go all the way with the decor!

We got to buy a brand new King size bedspread from the Disneyland Hotel last trip. The bedspreads are Disney themed and they are cool.

They know us very well at the DLH and I don't want to wear out my welcome by doing no-no's.

What is the deal with you women and a hundred extra pillows on the bed? If the bed is a queen or king two is enough. Maybe a couple extra if you want to prop yourself up to watch the tube or if you've got a menagerie a trois going on.Princess Susi wrote:Now we have to find out about the pillow shams!
And why do you need pillow shams? What ever happened to pillow cases you could put your head on and not worry about ruining them with a head load of Dixie Peach that holds your DA haircut together.
What the hell is a duvet?
Why do you put skirts around the bed? What's the matter with lookin' at the engine parts stored underneath? How am I suppose to find the set of high compression pistons I'm lookin' for without getting the bed skirt greasy?
Women!!

Your post was hilarious! :hysteria:hobie16 wrote: What the hell is a duvet?
To answer your question,a duvet is a nice cover for your bed comforter. You stuff the comforter inside the duvet and there are buttons (or a zipper) to keep it inside.
They are a pain in the ass! I bought one and used it for a week before removing the comforter from the duvet. My problem was that the comforter kept slipping inside the cover leaving it a lumpy mass by morning! GRRR!

This answers the question, but raises others. Isn't the comforter a cover for your bed? So why do you need a cover for your bed cover? And do you then need a cover for your duvet? Where does the madness end??? :p:dazyhill wrote:Your post was hilarious! :hysteria:

PMSL, a duvet is like a giant pillow and the duvet cover a pillowcase so of course you need a cover for your duvet or it will get dirty and smelly, now I'm guessing a comforter is like a thin blanket so you need that if it is a bit chilly and it can act as decoration to make your bed look pretty :) .BRWombat wrote:This answers the question, but raises others. Which brings up the question, If you are not giving tours of the house, WHY?rebelrebel wrote:PMSL, a duvet is like a giant pillow and the duvet cover a pillowcase so of course you need a cover for your duvet or it will get dirty and smelly, now I'm guessing a comforter is like a thin blanket so you need that if it is a bit chilly and it can act as decoration to make your bed look pretty :) .
(I ask DW that every once in a while, and so far, the only reply I get is to make it look nice for US)
