Is this strictly a DL thing? I'm an AP holder to Walt Disney World, and it never occurred to me that I rated anything but admission to the Parks for a year.

Sadly from what I've read it is all over. Some AP holders seem to think that being such makes them better than everybody else and that it entitles them to things it doesn't.

All being an AP holder does is give you access to the parks and I believe small discounts to a few things.

I know that sometime in the future I'll have to deal with a stuck up AP holder who thinks they deserve something they don't just because they bought a ticket that gets them in all year.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

I like it cause it's cheaper if I stay more than a few days at a time and some food discounts in places.

DW and I figured out tht if we go three times to DL or DCA, it pays for itself, and we usually go two or three times a year, usually two or three days at a time! (thats by ourselves, sometimes we go up with the kids and grandkids, but usually we are busy riding herd on the .."Herd" )

In 1990 the Mensa Annual Convention was being held at the Anaheim Marriott, so Judy and I decided to go. It ran from Wednesday evening through Sunday morning, so we decided to use Monday as a travel-in day and Tuesday to go to DL.

Then we found that the National Fantasy Fan Club was having its quarterly board meeting on Saturday, so we ended up going out on Friday. Since out travel day home was going to be on Monday, we figured the cheapest pass we could buy were Annuals.

We did not get much chance to go to DL since it was much easier to get to WDW from Washington DC, but I figured afterwards that we got a lot of hours use from the passes we bought.

If you average the days an AP uses their pass, they pay way less than a day guest, so they should get no privileges! Some AP's think they are majority stockholders! That one was a PSG! Premium Stupid Guest!

I haven't had that issue with APs, but I have with people who own stock, they think that it's because part of their portfolio or whatever we should worship the ground they walk on. It's just irritating beyond reason.

Especially with the decent increase in share price and rate of return. They probably think they're Warren Buffett who's actually a pretty low key guy.

Oh yeah, it the stock ever sinks to $26, sell the house and buy all you can.

WOW, if I had realized that paying for the Premium AP had Special Priviledges
and made you God, I would have paid more for it versus my lowly Deluxe

This "Person" was a Bitch, plain and simple. Being an AP means that you should know Disneyland Rules and etiquette MORE that the person who comes for the once-in -a -lifetime visit from IOWA. In fact, if I met said Iowan, I would do everything I could to make things extra nice, let them ahead of me in line or something. I'll be back in a month, I am so lucky, so why not relax?
Guest Jockey, can you ask THEIR names? People like that need to be on some sort of list.
