Re: Rocking out
I thought at first it was a Monthy Python bit. I would point out that they are not pirates, but rather navy guys!!Princess Susi wrote:You like Pirates, Grumpy? This one is for you!!!!! Enjoy your men!

Re: Rocking out
Ummm, being in the military, they discouraged long hair. Strangely enough, I was in the navy when they allowed beards. Which I did have for many years, until the new CNO put a stop to it. Years later I found out that when it starts to get long, it starts to curl and flip up, looking very unkempt.Princess Susi wrote:Grumpy, But they are men of the sea!

Plus, I really never had the need to wear long hair, kinda MEH on it.
(and also found out that long hair is really a bad idea if you are going to get into a confrontentional situation.)(years before Fight Club came out)

Hey Grumpy, I think that you should check out Troubie.com definetley your type of plays. They do plays, mostly Shakespeare, combined with musice from different bands. They've done Mac, ELO, I believe Chicago and there's talk of a Queen one. Plus they're just hilarious.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Hmmm, Chicago, Creedence, BS&T, Cream, Croce, Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Jefferson airplane/starship, Elton John, Toto, Queen, Forigner, Billy Joel, Neil Sedaka, Santana, Earth Wind and Fire..to name a few....
