I also want to take one of Zazu's tours sometime. He's mentioned before he has a slightly different tour for when he has all CMs as he can show and tell backstage things too. That's the tour I want to go on.disneyprincess1988 wrote:Wow, these misguided tours sound like a lot of fun. And since I live here in the wonderful world, I hope I can take one of my own in the future.

First timer here...Zazu wrote:Okay gang, The Powers That Be have declared that I'm giving one of my "Misguided Tours" next Thursday. I can't be leading a big herd through the park or I could be mistaken for a Brazilian and I don't speak Portuguese. This means I gotta limit attendance...
Zazu, could you tell me what your "Misguided Tour" is? Sounds interesting!

Thanks
From here.Zazu wrote:My "Misguided Tours" are just random stories about the history of the Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, Walt, and whatever else my tour group wants to hear about. Some of them are even true! But there's truth and then there's Truth, if you know what I mean.

Thanks! ;) I have been to WDW MANY MANY times, loving it the same as the first. Always looking for something new to see...or hear. How do us regular guests hear about these fun type of tours? Or, are they just for those behind the scenes?

Just PM Zazu. His tours are for everybody. There's some more information in the Bubble Ladies Tour thread and searching on here for "Misguided Tour" will come up with some things.BIG_Dizfan wrote:Thanks! ;) I have been to WDW MANY MANY times, loving it the same as the first. Oh man! This tour is not to be missed. If you're lucky you'll also get to meet the lovely Mrs. Zazu!Zazu wrote:So far, I've had only one person confirm attendance at either of this week's "Misguided Tours" (plus two reserved spots for the Bubble Ladies, who haven't yet committed).
Seriously. My wife and I were treated to Zazu's particularly spectacular knowledge and sense of humor about four days before our wedding and it *almost* was the highlight of the trip*
*I can't say it was better than the wedding because I like being able to breathe and eat without the use of a tube ;)

Re: Zazu's Misguided Tour of the Magic Kingdom
First post here (waves madly at the board), but I just wanted to tell everyone NOT to miss Zazu's incredibly informative and unbelievably interesting tour of the Magic Kingdom. It was probably the most fun day we ever had at the parks and I am sorry that I didn't know he was doing one while we were at WDW last week! He also did a partial tour of Epcot for us during Mousefest but claimed that he didn't have enough information for a full tour yet. It sure didn't seem that way to either of us :) but I bow to his wisdom.
The details are awesome and make the parks more fun than ever. We did the Backstage Magic Tour this last trip and Zazu's Misguided Tour was a lot more fun :) !
We are going to be back at WDW on October 16th through the 25th to go to the Food and Wine Festival for the first time in eight years and would love to get together with the two of you if possible.

Re: Zazu's Misguided Tour of the Magic Kingdom
I was wondering, Zazu, do you do individual tours as well? You seemed like a wonderful person when we met at Boma this week and I'd love to do your tour. But me being a CP comes with weird schedules as well, so it could take some doing to get a tour with me scheduled. But I am up for going with a group if that's the case. And yes, I want to have the Tonga Toast breakfast as well beforehand. :D:
For Narnia! And for Aslan!
