I too am an "attention whore" LOL I am trying to complete the 12 step program for it. That said, this trip next week is celebrating all our birthdays since we cant afford to go once a month for 3 months consecutively. ( Dec, Jan, Feb. ) So instead of getting the WDW pins I made one saying "Celebrating My B-Day at WDW" This way it covers all 3 of us and we have each picked one park to be our celebration day. I even made little ribbon with sayings to make it more individual and fun.
Donnie-MK and his ribbon says DEC "Holding at 30"
Meghyn-AK and her ribbon says JAN " 5 Going on 15"
Mine- EP and the ribbon says FEB " 29 Again"

I really have way too much time on my hands

And the 12 year and 10 month anniversary of the day we met is the 15th of the month. Ralphie ALWAYS gets me a card on the 15th EVERY month since the day we met, July 15th, 1995! He is one of a kind!

So we will probably have an anniversary dinner for that date. We do not celebrate the date we actually made it legal, cause we did not have a wedding, we just went to the DMV, paid 10 bucks and go the license. Nice inexpensive wedding. LOL! Neither of us cared about a fancy wedding.
Hey just going to WDW is a celebration in itself!

Ralphie is indeed a gem! But WAAAAAAAIT a minute. You can get a marriage license at the DMV in Colorado?

At first I thought you said "welding", and it made sense, as they would be joining two together! but for money? Hmmmm.

Hi guys, thanks for the great welcome.

I feel a bit better now over all this. The poster on another board got really nasty when people questioned the two week celebration and I felt really bad. But I really feel that asking for special attention for two weeks is a bit too much. It has left a nasty taste in my mouth to be part of such an argument which turned personal towards me and some other posters that I have not gone back.

I think the buttons are great and I say wear them as long as you can. The suprises that come your way make your vacation and I really love hearing stories about the extra special treatment guests get when they are celebrating. There is just something about noting a one day event, every day for two weeks which does not sit right with me. Magic is not planned.
Magic is sometime that happens when you don't expect it to.

Yes, you can actually go to the DMV and fill out all the paperwork. It is official and legal. You pay 10 bucks and they mail the official license to you after all the details have been filed with the proper office. They give you one that you can fill out and frame, a fancy one. It kinda baffled me when we heard where we had to go to get our mariage license. We took the bus! LOL! Really, we didn't have a car when we first moved here. Interesting. huh? A License to wed!!!!!!!

Is that because both get hot and smoky?
