I can talk about Build a Bear. Meghyn has a build a bear unicorn named Majic. It is very well loved, enuf that it used to be white. Used to be, the operative words here. It is a dirty gray and beyond all hope of ever being white again. It's feet are no longer sparkly pink and starting to come apart. Her mane is long gone and her tail a bit of a stump. She has had it for the past 4 years and that thing is as well traveled as we are and we have plenty of pics of her with characters at Disney from 2005. This last trip we, talked Meghyn into taking in a similar and much cheaper and more replaceable unicorn harness/backpack stuffie to the parks and letting poor Majic have a vacation at the hotel with her other friends.
Build a Bear retired the unicorn design (you can only buy them offline) I was smart enuf to grab a duplicate that way. So now we have a "before" and "after" version.

I wish BAB would hold a contest for the most loved critter. That thing would definatly be in the top ten if not the winner. LOL

Speaking of Buildabears, I have a friend in a Beauty and the Beast tv show fandom, who lives in Australia. In July she's coming over to the US on her way to a Beauty and The Beast convention in New Jersey and she's bringing a Kangaroo Buildabear dressed as Vincent (Role played in the tv show by Ron Perlman)

I have pictures that she sent me of the kangaroo. She says two of her grandchildren helped her with putting in hearts. Yes two hearts. One from a boy one from a girl. So sweet.

If I could figure out how to do it, I'd get rid of my weird shark, too.

Ya gotta just go with the flow...

besides, I seem to remember that Jabberjaw was a friendly shark!

I mean, after all, he had his own cartoon show!

I think he was the drummer in a band also!
