I'll be moving to the WDW area very soon!

Post by Shorty82 » Thu Feb 28, 2008 2:22 pm

Hopefully in a little more than 2 weeks I'll be moving down there. My uncle in the area is going to let me live in the spare bedroom in his house until I get on my feet. I just got off the phone with him and he'll talk to his wife to make sure moving so soon is fine as I was originally thinking it would be the end of March but he agrees that the sooner the better. I'll set the date in stone once he calls me back. I could possibly move sooner but I have to give 2 weeks notice at work. That'll also give me the time needed to get packed up.

I called my casting representative yesterday afternoon and left a message and I'm about to try calling her again so she can get working on getting me a role at WDW.

I just got the address and looked up the house on Google Earth. The house is not far from the back entrance of the MK so I'll be close to work, especially if I get a role somewhere in the MK.

Thanks! Rolling is right. Just two weeks ago I interviewed with no clear idea on when I'll be moving and now it looks like I'll be moving in about 2 weeks, that's the hope at least.

Everything is moving so very fast but it'll be worth it as it will get me to where I want to be.

Yes it is. I'm having to work at not letting the momentum knock me head over teacups or things will get messed up.

Yes it is. Walt must be looking down and giving a helping hand. Thanks, Mr. Disney!

Thank you all for your well wishes too!

Woohoo! Congrats!

I'm jealous, I wish I was moving to Orlando to be a CM :(

The dates are set!

My first full day there will be the 18th of March. I'm giving my manager my letter of resignation tomorrow morning and my last day of work here will be the 14th.

WDW CMs, I'll be joining your ranks soon! I'm so excited, I can't wait. I'm already working on getting all my stuff packed away for the move.

Yay! That's awesome!

I wish I could just pick up and move down. It's way more complicated in my case, being Canadian and all...but if I win the lottery, look out! I'll be joining you!

Awesome! Shall I welcome you to the family yet? Maybe after your Traditions. Anyway, I sure hope that I will meet you (and others from here) one day.
