Florida Power Outage
I read that the power outage was in Miami, I was wondering if it affected any of y'all who live in FL? It made the news out here in CA, so it must have been big.
"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

*Grin* maybe I live under a rock... or maybe it's just that news travels slow in Utah... but this is news to me. :p: Everyone alright?
"How much are the mugs? Well the 13 large signs at eye level all say the mugs are $12.99.. so I'm gonna go with that."

Re: Florida Power Outage
We lost power here at Chez Zazu for about 40 minutes. We got off easy.
Not sure how the parks fared. I heard that Epcot had no interruption, but don't know if that's because the auxiliary power units backstage kicked in quickly or they just have a better feed.
In any event, you'll all be happy to know that no smilies were lost or damaged due to the outage.

No problem up here in northwest Florida. It was all in central and south Florida, I think. Haven't heard the latest news about it.

A couple of websites that I go to had their servers down yesterday. Could not get on at all. Someone later on the boards said it was becuse of the outage. I heard about the outage, did not realize how large an area it covered. WOW!

No outage at my place, or my parents in Clermont, or at Universal. Radio this morning said Disney was at half power yesterday though, whatever that means.
