What kind of odds are we talkin' here.? I need to know if I have a chance of winning that million with my $1 I have.

There ya go, in a nutshell.

I am going to work now, going to be unable to monitor. Being the newest mod, it takes me a bit longer to find the "Close Thread" and "Time Out for User" buttons. Other mods are much quicker, as I will one day be.

Play nice, everyone. No fighting. In fact, if you can't respond to this thread without an effort to be insulting, don't.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Now, Wallaby you know we all play nice but some of us fight dirty and play games cut-throat style, especially the nonsober ones.

Can someone help me straighten my halo? Wait first I have to find it, lol.

To think that I was wasting my whole week studying for my Advanced Cardiac Life Support recertification......
You know, those silly things that doctors and nurses need to know when we have a patient who needs defibrillation and life-saving drugs.
Yeah, I passed.....big deal.....I'll never be a cheerleader :o:
You know at my age and with my muscles and bones in daily decay, I could never even get past the down, let alone the DOUBLE  down...

Now a standing Tucks ;) ? I think I may have some of those in the drawers in my bathroom.

And that is is the only way I use em...standing...Can't sit comfortably with those, you know they start with an H? The Tucks cure that burning itch sooooooooo well..... LOL!

Oh, you all KNOW what I am talking about, don't act like you have never had a hemi.... so innocent and pretending like you don't know... :p:

OH NO! Here I was, all excited about my Disney interview in April, and I finally find out that my dream career is stupid - a dead end for people who have no ambition! What was I thinking - that after earning two degrees and teaching college and AP English it would be GREAT to work at the place which has brought so much happiness to millions?? Silly, silly me. Thank God there was a cheerleader (oh,noble profession!) to set me right.

Wouldn't be surprised. This place has some of the sharpest banter that I've found anywhere.

Hopefully not bragging, but I qualify -- the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) is one of ways to get in, and my score was more than enough. I never joined, though. The thought of paying dues to hang out with smart people never seemed that appealing to me. It was enough to know that I could.

After all, as Groucho Marx famously said, "I don't care to belong to any club that will have me as a member."

I qualify too, but never felt the urge to join. I'd rather hang with folks who have big hearts than those with big brains.

No no no... Silly people, double down is something you do in Blackjack..

Double down: Double the bet, take exactly one more card, and then stand.
