Official SGT ADD thread

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Decided to check my lottery tickets for last night MegaMillions draw.
Out of ten tickets, I got absolutely no numbers!
The jackpot was for $270 million and there was only one winning ticket with all the numbers. In Georgia.
oh well.

LOL...I just heard about the winners on the radio today and the woman was interviewed to say "I guess God answers prayers" OK, I may be wrong here since I am not the most religious person but would God really answer a prayer condoning gambling? It is supposed to be wrong, right? LOL

Actually, winning the lottery has been a curse for many people. I think if you were an idiot with your blessings before, it won't improve the outcome to have more of them. But hey, God, I'm willing to give it a try! :p:vixen101485 wrote:LOL...I just heard about the winners on the radio today and the woman was interviewed to say "I guess God answers prayers" OK, I may be wrong here since I am not the most religious person but would God really answer a prayer condoning gambling? Damn lying TV listings! The TV listings I use showed that the MacGuyver Mythbusters episode was supposed to be on right now. Instead it is another episode of How It's Made. Not a bad show but I wanted MythBusters.
I check Discovery's website and it shows that How It's Made is supposed to be on. I normally only check the regular listings and not Discovery's as I like seeing what is on all channels. These listings are rarely wrong but when they are I get quite annoyed when they say a show I really want to see is going to be on but isn't.
I missed this MythBusters episode when it originally aired the other day and really want to see it. Checking the Mythbuster airings coming up it doesn't look like this particular one is coming on anytime before March 30th, which is as far as the listings go. I can't find this episode anywhere on iTunes either so I can't get it from there. I want to see this episode bad enough to be willing to pay for it. Normally I'd rather watch shows on TV instead of paying to download them and have to watch them on my computer.

Ok, i did some searching since normally you can see full episodes on the discovery channel website, but it looks like the rotation isn't with mythbusters right now. Right now you can see the full episode on youtube. Here is the links to the entire episode:Shorty82 wrote:Damn lying TV listings! Personally, I was hoping for a bit better show based on the mini-myths they did, but it was a good episode.
