You mean you're not bringing me back a huge bag of chocolate fudge or Mickey Rice Krispy Treats or caramel coated apples or anything like that???? :(
Oh well, I know your bags were probably packed to the brim.
Just kidding - I'll be happy if you bring me a map or two.

We definitely need to do lunch so I can hear all about your trip.

They are. The only thing other than food I bought was some cough drops. I would love to have been able to bring back some treats from the Confectionery.

I got you a bunch of maps of each park.

Yes we do. I'll let you know my schedule for the rest of the week when I find out. For everybody else I'll put together a trip report and post it.

Are you home already? I hope you don't have to go to work this afternoon - I'm sure you need some hours to rest up from your gung-ho trip (I was trying to avoid saying commando). ;)

Maybe you could substitute the term "Agressive FUN" for "commando", since that term seems to be the "property" of another board?

As church lady mentioned, they are giant rice crispie treats. And they are really good. Using the ones shown in those beautiful pictures, this is one with a 1.5 pound chocolate medallion attached:

Notice the smiling Mickey on the chocolate medallion? The mold used for the rice crispies themselves has the same exact face, but because of the nature of rice crispies they don't pick up the face very well, just leaving a vague impression of a smile (incidentally, those ears are covered in white chocolate):

Image

The smile is actually less visible in person than it appears in the photo. A few weeks ago I was working at the Cotton Candy registers (the ones in the fifth photo down in the diningindisney.com photos). From where a guest stands you can't really see the smile at all unless you know to look at it. A SG bought a plain one and as I was boxing it up she suddenly noticed the smile. She completely freaked, and I had to cancel the purchase. She said that it was one of the scariest things she had ever seen! I showed her the mold but it didn't matter, she ended up leaving the store without buying anything and she seemed quite disturbed by the whole experience. Since then I have carefully looked at the plain rice crispie heads several times, but I still can't see what she saw. Really, it was a very strange experience.

I have a cotton candy machine. The witch stager put it in storage with therest of my fun *toys*, she did not think were appropriate for showing our home.

I also have a full size popcorn machine that has the little bucket that spills it out and it is big and red with glass windows, just like you see at a carnival! She left that up in our basement rec room near the bar. It fit I guess!

I love these toys. I was gonna get the hotdogger that you can prepare a bunch of doggies on the rollers, but have not gotten that yet! I also want a corndogger for my home. I LOVE corndogs! Mmmmmmmmm...Need to find one of those and NOT at eBay. I want a shiny new one. :D:

My flight got in a little after 10:00 this morning. I would have been on sooner but I've been fighting computer problems all afternoon. I couldn't get connected to the Internet and after a while on the phone with tech support we figured out the problem is somewhere on my end. I hooked my modem up using USB instead of the network card (NIC) just now and I have Internet so apparently my NIC went bad. I'm going to have to get a longer USB cable tomorrow, my tower is pulled as far from the desk as I can get it and the USB cables are stretched tight going right across the middle of my living room floor (computer is in my room, modem is on the other side of the living room from there). I'd rather use a NIC but I don't believe I have an empty place to put one in my tower. Ah well, once I get to WDW permanent I'll be able to save up enough money to get me a new computer.

I don't work until tomorrow afternoon at 2:00. I'm not sure when I get off but I bet I close. I'll find out what I'm working the rest of the week tomorrow.

We had some bad storms while you were gone. Could that have caused the problem with your NIC?
