Official SGT ADD thread
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

I found out what happens to monorails after certain people drive them.

Tomorrow CBReilley is going to stop buy and see about the computer. Wow now that will make my day. It probably just needs cleaning and and a trip down some stairs. my computer guy sold out to cousin Sunny who looks like a weasel and even put in the wrong version of windows, lol.

Since this is the ADD thread... does anyone here put salt and pepper on melon? My dad does that, on watermelon and canteloupe both, and it drives me crazy.

A lot of the food stuff on SGT has sounded really good and interesting to try, but not that one. I can't see adding salt and/or pepper to watermelon, just put a weird taste in my mouth thinking about it.BRWombat wrote:Since this is the ADD thread... does anyone here put salt and pepper on melon? Light travels faster than sound. Perhaps that is why people appear bright until they open their mouth.

Oh sure, we'll move the classroom you had us set up on the exhibit hall floor. No problem, moving the projection screen, projector, sound system, microphone and various cables. We have an hour before the floor opens, plenty of time.
Why?... because, they didn't think when they decided to have 3 XBox set-ups (with Halo 3, Guitar Hero & Rock Band) set up less than 10 ft. away from where presenters were trying to speak. And now the presenters have complained about the distraction.
Excuse me, I have to go pound my head against the wall now...

And what's the deal on putting salt in beer?!?!BRWombat wrote:Since this is the ADD thread... does anyone here put salt and pepper on melon? My dad does that, on watermelon and canteloupe both, and it drives me crazy.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I like salt on cantaloupe, never tried pepper, but watermelon, I rarely eat anyway....maybe I should try it with salt and pepper as it is not my favorite.BRWombat wrote:Since this is the ADD thread... does anyone here put salt and pepper on melon? I can't imagine ruining a good beer by putting salt in it.
Maybe Darph will stop by and give us his input. :D:
