Really interesting pictures

Go to this site and click on Portfolio. Then click on one of the thumbnail pics of a celebrity. When the larger version of the pic comes up move your cursor onto the pic and see the changes. Move it off and on the picture to see the real changes they have done to the pics. This site is a photoshopping site for celeb pics and it is amazing what they do to these people to make them look so flawless. Check it out! HOLEY CRAP!!!!!!!!! :eek:

Thats also another way to "hide" data or another picture! We have found that some people will "hide" a picture a couple of layers down, then cover it with an innocent picture. One type of a poor mans stego!

This is very similar to pageant photo editing used in photos of children's pageant contestants.

It can be used for other things, its called steganography (Hidden writing) I teach a section in a course about it. there are several commercial tools available to "embed" data within data. Its also a very old method of communicating information in a secure way!

An example of "poor mans" steganography is, of course, the hidden picture within the picture. Another method is to open a word document and start out writing an innocent document, then every other line has the "real" message. when finished, you simply "highlight" the hidden message and change the type color to white. it appears that it is a double spaced letter with an innocent subject. but if you highlight the document, you can see the real message!
