Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Ah, yes, service like that is what makes travel such a pleasure, after all.

We were in the Hartford CT airport last year and there was a space on the wall with a sign beneath that said "Courtesy Phone."

There was no phone, just a wall jack, empty.

My husband took a pic with his phone (sadly it got deleted somehow) and said "this sums up the travel industry these days, in a nutshell."

No phone above the courtesy phone sign. Yup. That's about right.

That's Funny! But What, there are no bags with your picture on them? :zazu: Scandal!

Everyone wants to use Mickey luggage when they are going to WDW or DCL, I guess. We have to attach LGMHPC (Lime Green Mickey Head Paint Chips) or some other identifying object to our red Mickey luggage in order to find it.
That's an awesome idea! We typically do colored yarn or ribbons, but I may have to raid my local Lowe's before the next trip!

Here's the luggage I want, sold by the Barbershop Harmony Society:

No mistaking these! I dropped hints for them last Christmas with my relatives, but it didn't work. :o:

I picked up a yellow ABS suitcase in Seoul, Korea. That baby was blast-proof and very easy to find on the carousels.

Wow - those are great!! Love the design.
Oh - it's Home Depot for the LGMHPCs, not Lowe's. However, some Home Depots have caught on to the fact that their LGMHPCs are disappearing at a high rate, so you have to be sneaky if you take more than one or two. ;)

It looks like the sheet music for a Christmas concert exploded all over it.

DW and I were in Boston on some family business, and needed an extra suitcase to get some family stuff home. We went over to Fileenes (sp) basement and got a hard sided cheapo case in RED. We got hooked as it was Sooo easy to spot. and dont care if it gets scuffed up!! I went on the web and found the same model, with a COW print!! Nedless to say, DW won't let me get it, as we also have some more expensive luggage she got me, when I travelled a lot!!

Back when I was working in hotels, I loved it when the Japanese came to stay with us. Their luggage was always very easy to stack in the back of the airport shuttle.
