Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Well, I wanted to use this as my siggy, but there are too many characters and it won't let me. :(

I found this quote on another board, a not so evil one, and have to credit "The lovely Mrs. Tod" for some words that I just HAD to copy and hang on my mirror, so I see it EVERY morning! I don't ever want to forget what this says. It just speaks to the heart and sensibilities!

Polar is there any way I can get this as my signature, with a special dispensation from the gods who rule the site? ;)

Easy easy easy. Create a graphic with the text in it. Save as a jpeg. Store it in the same place as the Raffles pics. Put the link in the sig box.

Ta daaaaaa!!!

Whazzup wrote:Hi Vixen, I got a rolling Mickey backpack and duffle bag. It was from Sears but it's got Mickey on it and seems to be really well made. Better quality than the red Mickey luggage I ordered on sale from Disneyshopping.com.
I was just browsing through the ADD thread and saw this! I have that very same luggage and also in red!!! I used this last trip. Yeah, it is not the best made luggage. It gets beat up pretty badly, but I like it and still use it. When it falls apart, I will have to go back to my boring tumi luggage Ralph got me, NO Mickey Mouse on them... :(

I can always spot my bags on the carousel though! Very few people have red lugage with Mickey Mouse on it! :D:

It was done pretty fast and looking at it in your sig I see the text isn't quite centered. If it's okay with you it's okay with me.

Oh yeah? Try going on a Disney cruise - you will see multitudes of red (and other color) Mickey luggage in the baggage area! Everyone wants to use Mickey luggage when they are going to WDW or DCL, I guess. We have to attach LGMHPC (Lime Green Mickey Head Paint Chips) or some other identifying object to our red Mickey luggage in order to find it.

When we went to South Africa a few years ago, I had bags with the blue Mickey Mouse print, and SWMBO had bags with the orange Tigger print. The South Africans are a very direct culture, and our driver said, "That's some really ugly luggage you have there. I'd never buy anything that looked like that."

"Did you have any trouble finding it among all the black bags?" I asked.

After a half-second's pause, he replied, "That's some really distinctive luggage you have there. I need to buy some that stands out like that."
