stupid question

i'm bored...and am just wondering what the STICKY thing means in front of some of the threads...

Stickies are topics that moderators or admins have either put up there because of...

Its a sort of "hot topic" inside the said forum.

They want to keep it at the top so its easy for the members to find.

Its turned into an important topic and they want members to find it.

Of course theres many more reasons why, but..yah. The sticky is to keep it at the top of the forums, no matter when the last post was.

Hopefully you understood my horrible explaination.
