So, if Cast Members are gonna start treating SGs like dogs, do they get to stick the SG parents noses in their kids "number 1"when they let them go in the bushes instead of finding a bathroom?

Randy B wrote:Well, hanging a net over the passenger section as an "in theme" ceiling treatment would work. Then having all four corners of the net held in place on a bungee cord. And then have a rope running from the four corners down to the floor on the inside of the passenger compartment, through pullies and into a high speed hydraulic ram. The attach the activator to the ram connected to an air bag sensor (and a hidden driver activated button). Of course this is purely for the safety of the passengers since they don't want to remain safely seated and could be in danger in the case of an accident or sudden stop.

So you have an SG standing up, and at the same moment that you make a sudden breaking maneuver (to avoid hitting an endangered animal) the button is pressed and the net drops. This drops fast and hard enough to crush everyone down into their seats and takes time to reset to allow them to be released. But as a safety measure. nobody will fall out of the vehicle in the instance of a sudden stop. :D:

In a little more than 10 words, a story...

My Father in law, has trained his and Mom in law's pet pugs to sit down before he gives them their bowls of food. One day while my daughter was behind him, and the hubby and I behind her, my father in law told the dogs in a firm voice, to "Sit!" My daughter at the tender age of 3, Sat down. We burst out laughing, and told my father in law to look behind him at his granddaughter.

Oh, You want to be MacGuyver.

Between Inspector Gadget and MacGuyver, definitely Macguyver.

Actually, you'd be amazed how many safari drivers brag about how, when someone stands up, they'll hit the parking brake, which has a fairly immediate effect (much more so than on buses). While I do understand their reasons, that is completely unacceptable. With that, they are creating a safety hazard out of an already bad situation. It's dangerous to those who are still seated.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Definately MacGyver! My Hero.

I have always been one who tended to come up with a solution of some type for every problem I encounter. Many times the "solution" isn't worth the hassle, but it is a solution none the less. :D: I may not have the training to come up with the best idea, or the equipment to manufacture my ideas, but I do come up with something. This is one of the reasons I prefer to have a little knowledge about many many many different fields than to be an expert in one. Sometimes by connecting woodworking with fluid dynamics, with electronics, with metal working, I can cake something that works and the "experts" in any of the fields scratch their heads and say "it CAN'T possibly work, but it IS!

To show how long this has been going on, my parents tell of an incident when I was 3. They had shown me how to make a reel to reel tape recording and I quickly was able to make my own recordings (My parents have a few tapes of me babbling and when I ran out of something to say I put in a Emergency Broadcast Test, which seemed to be on radio and TV several times a day at that time). With that experience I was able to explain that I had a tape recorder in my head and sometimes had to rewind the tape to remember something. :D:

And ask Zazu about some of the weird things I have created to solve "problems" with my campsite and my (former) traveling monorail setup. I sometimes shock myself when something I create actually works the way it is supposed to.

I don't know if anyone here watches Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel, but on February 20th at 9 pm (est) they are dedicating an entire show to MacGyver. They are doing all the things he did in the show and seeing if they are really possible. They've done some small ones as previews and they've all worked so far. One was can chocolate plug a leak in an acid beaker. Another was can spraying, I think it was water, on a hot light bulb break in plunging the room into darkness.
