Oh, then you could have more fun! Get back to the station and "Ok, everyone stand up and exit to your right" (or whatever side it is) and then everyone goes *boom* and then remember that they have a belt on. Then unlock them so they can undo them and get out.

I remember someone did that at Indy belt check once. No one has done it since...

I would love it if they put belts in on the Safari. I pushed for something else and they've started working that way, so maybe...

There is nothing but the CMs screaming to stop kids from standing on seats, guests leaning out the sides, or changing seats. I was lucky and had no problems but have seen videos of people not setting still.

Can't say, because it would give me away. But look at the equipment on Safari, on the Cast Member. You might have to ride multiple times to realize the difference (or see the new thing).

Hey, I can dream a bit...

Well, hanging a net over the passenger section as an "in theme" ceiling treatment would work. Then having all four corners of the net held in place on a bungee cord. And then have a rope running from the four corners down to the floor on the inside of the passenger compartment, through pullies and into a high speed hydraulic ram. The attach the activator to the ram connected to an air bag sensor (and a hidden driver activated button). Of course this is purely for the safety of the passengers since they don't want to remain safely seated and could be in danger in the case of an accident or sudden stop.

So you have an SG standing up, and at the same moment that you make a sudden breaking maneuver (to avoid hitting an endangered animal) the button is pressed and the net drops. This drops fast and hard enough to crush everyone down into their seats and takes time to reset to allow them to be released. But as a safety measure. nobody will fall out of the vehicle in the instance of a sudden stop. :D:
